Hamlin wins in Kansas (AP)

Fans give a round of applause as driver Denny Hamlin burns out after winning the NASCAR Natioinwide series Kansas Lottery 300 auto race, Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, in Kansas City, Kan.

Denny Hamlin's pit crew gave him the lead, rushing him out just ahead of Kevin Harvick near the race's halfway point.
